 W. Scott Trimble

Residency: January – February 2007

The spatial relationships between industry, nature, figure and machine have long been sources of W. Scott Trimble's imagery. Major themes in his work address issues ranging from the tension between humanity and the natural world and how we interact, perceive and participate in it. Trimble received his BFA in Spatial Arts from San Jose State University in San Jose, CA and an MFA in Sculpture at the University of Washington, where he also taught 3-D Design and Wood Sculpture. He has exhibited throughout California and Washington and is the recipient of several grants and awards. He lives and works in Seattle, WA.
