 Erica Ferrari

Sao Paulo, Brazil 

Erica Ferrari (Sao Paulo, 1981) earned her degree in Fine Arts from the University of Sao Paulo in 2008. Since 2005, Erica participated in exhibitions with the group Hóspede and with individual work. Erica participated in the 61th Salão de Abril in Fortaleza (Ceará, Brazil), the 68th Salão de Santo André (São Paulo, Brazil), where she won the Acquisition Prize and was a resident of the Open Studio Ateliê Aberto at Casa Tomada Space (São Paulo, Brazil) in 2010. In 2011, she participated in the 36th Art Salon of Ribeirao Preto (São Paulo, Brazil), where she was also congratulated the Acquisition Award. Erica received funding from the Ministry of Culture of São Paulo through the Cultural Programme of Action with the project Panorama Imaginista; presented an individuals exhibitions in Emma Thomas Gallery and in Palácio das Artes (Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil) and participated in the collective exhibition ‘Nova Escultura Brasileira’, in Caixa Cultural of Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). She finished a new installation for English Culture Festival Award and an individual exhibition in Art Museum of Ribeirao Preto (São Paulo, Brazil) in July 2012.
